It was a chilly day for a wedding at Beacon Hill in May. We were having such a wet, rainy spring but not much sun, so the grass was green but there was just barely the first signs of Spring poking through the grounds of Beacon Hill. Luckily this place speaks for itself, and even in the bareness there was beauty.

I pulled up and it was raining and cold. The weather app was telling me it could go either way – partly sunny & rain or stormy and cold. It didn’t look to be very promising. In the next hour or so that passed, it continued to rain and the clouds were looking fierce on the horizon. But then, we were getting her into her dress – BAM, there came the sunshine as if it had been there all along and it was just waiting to shine its light on Gretchen’s beauty.

All throughout the first look and well past the ceremony the sun shone brightly in the sky as if nothing had the power to dim it. It couldn’t have been more perfect.

They say rain on your wedding day is good luck and sun on your wedding day is good luck, so Denilo & Gretchen got double the luck to start the beginning of their forever 🙂

Enjoy! Xoxo, Hannah
