Photographing the Fosters for their Family Photoshoot at James Slavin was such a treat. This was my second year capturing their family, and honestly, each year just gets better. James Slavin provides the perfect backdrop with its golden fields and beautiful Aspens. The light filtered through the trees, creating that soft, dreamy glow every photographer hopes for. The Fosters showed up looking amazing, but it was their connection that really stole the show.
What I love most about the Fosters is how natural they are in front of the camera. They aren’t afraid of showing PDA, which makes my job easy. Snuggles, kisses, and holding hands—every moment felt genuine and full of love. Their kids were playful and silly, which gave us the perfect mix of sweet and fun shots. That balance of tenderness and chaos always makes for the best family photos. Their Family Photoshoot at James Slavin felt effortless, thanks to how comfortable they are just being themselves.
James Slavin has quickly become one of my favorite spots for family sessions. The combination of open fields and swaying Aspens creates a magical setting that feels both intimate and expansive. The Fosters made the most of it, soaking up the sunshine and each other’s company. I’m already counting down the days until next year’s session!
