Settlers Creek Wedding in Coeur d'Alene - Cole & Kailee

When you think of Coeur d’Alene, the first thing you probably think of is the Lake and the incredible views that accompany it. But, nestled in the areas surrounding the lake, there are beautiful rolling hills with long flowing grasses and the iconic pine tree with sunsets that light the sky on fire. It’s among those rolling hills that you will find the beautiful Settlers Creek Wedding Venue. It’s the perfect spot for an outdoor romantic summer wedding!

I had the pleasure of shooting Cole & Kailee’s wedding there last summer and it quickly became one of my favorite venues to shoot at. They have it all – a beautiful getting ready area, endless beautiful backdrops for first look / bridals / bridal party / family photos, multiple ceremony spots that offer different vibes & views, and a beautiful atrium-style reception area with the two iconic silos.

Onto the celebration itself – Cole & Kailee know how to throw a party! The boys started off the morning with a round (or two..or three…) of corn hole and poker while the ladies beautified themselves inside. From there they had an emotional + beautiful first look where they both read each other love letters. Kailee’s grandpa walked with her down the aisle. The wine, apps, and laughter were flowing during the cocktail hour and kept going through dinner. Not a dry eye in the place was had during the toasts. I was able to whisk them away for 10 mins of photos at sunset, and it was absolutely beautiful. After that – the party was ON and the dance floor was poppin’! They got away in Cole’s dads Lambo and it was the perfect ending to a perfect day.

Enjoy! Xoxo, Hannah

Something special about these two – they have the ability to tease & flirtatiously quip with each other – all while looking at one another like they’re the only two people in the room. I am so thankful I was able to capture their wedding day and this beautiful start to their “forever”!

You only get married once! It’s one of the biggest days of your life, and hopefully one of the best. I want you to fully enjoy it, soak it all in, and have amazing photos to enjoy for the rest of your lives together. Everyone has their own love story.
And I love documenting people’s stories.
