Wedding at the Wallace Falls Lodge - Phillip & Miranda

It was a typical PNW wedding day – a rainy fall day at a small lodge tucked away in the Cascade Mountains. The forecast called for rain during the bridal photos / ceremony and boy it didn’t disappoint. A total downpour ensued but we made lemonade out of lemons. What could’ve been a total disaster was instead a wonderful community of friends & family hustling to change plans from an outdoor wedding to an indoor wedding. A true day of commitment witnessed from both the bride & groom to each other – but also from their people to them.  Phillip & Miranda never lost enthusiasm for their big day and let me tell you – it was so beautiful and intimate. Perhaps rain on your big day isn’t bad luck after all.

Wallace Falls Lodge is a great venue for a small wedding! It’s cozy and has the PNW vibes on point. You feel like you need to wear a flannel shirt as soon as you drive up the driveway. It has a beautiful big lawn surrounded by big mossy trees and views of the Cascade Mountains from the big front porch. We definitely wish we could have utilized more of the grounds for the ceremony + photos but alas, the rain had other plans for us that day!

Enjoy! – Xoxo, Hannah
